dia 13 foi tirado para descansar e tentar botar em dia o diário de bordo. thermas alphaville é o lugar ideal, um hotel com dois quartos e uma piscina grande de água quente praticamente só para mim. conheci sr. alfredo, um português de mais de setenta anos que está na cidade de jaciara há uns 20 anos. daiane e raiane são gêmeas, netas de seu antônio e d. roseli, donos do lugar. comida caseira, tranqüilidade e jogo do brasil para descansar o braço direito que esta reclamando do esforço na direção do carro e na digitação diária no laptop. bem descansar é modo de dizer, pois passei quase cinco horas tentando conectar na rede pelo telefone celular satélite. dessas cinco horas acho que consegui serviço por uma meia hora, quebrada em sequências de cinco, até sete minutos. entrava e saía. parecia brincadeira de mau gosto, era só conseguir abrir um e-mail e caía, tinha que começar tudo de novo. enlouquecedor! após cinco horas consegui ler dois e-mails e consegui limpar a caixa de lixo e mensagens de endereços não encontrados ou não existentes, em fim, já estou com espaço suficiente para receber mais mensagens. outro problema técnico referente ao celular satélite é que a bateria estranhamente foi reduzindo seu tempo de vida a medida que eu recarregava para continuar o processo via internet. a primeira carga durou uma hora e pouco, já na última a autonomia tinha caído para 20 minutos. foram quatro ou cinco cargas consecutivas, será esse o problema? em todo caso, é ruím.

on the 13th i had to stop and rest my right forearm that was complaining the effort of driving and typing for hours everyday. thermal alphaville was the perfect spot - a hotel with only two rooms, but a very nice swimming pool with thermal water, hot up to 44 degrees celsius. i met mr. alfredo, from portugal that lives here for more than twenty years. daiane and raiane are the grand daughters of the owners mr. antonio and his wife roseli. i tried to rest but ended up spending about five hours trying to connect the internet through the satellite cellular phone. during all this time i managed to be on line for about half an hour. the phone would be entering and exiting service all the time, and the longest period that i had on line lasted for five or seven minutes. very annoying. finally i read two e-mails and managed to clean the inbox of junk mail and returned mail so that i would have space for new mail. another problem was the duration of the phone's battery operating time, with was reduced at every new charge. it first gave me about an hour of life, and by the fourth or fifth charge it lasted only about twenty minutes. i don't know if this problem is related with the fact that it was charged on a sequence, anyway, this is bad.
